Spiritual Formation

We offer classes for learners from five years of age through adulthood. The educational programs for children, youth, and adults are currently a mixture of in-person, online (Zoom Meeting) and hybrid (in person participation with remote attendees via Zoom). For information on our current programs, please contact the church office or consult the current newsletter.

Children and Youth

Classes for children and youth are grouped by grade; the grade level is determined by the student’s age as of September 1. Children and youth are currently meeting monthly on the second Sunday of each month at 9:30 AM. Childcare for younger children is available beginning at 9:15 AM.

Adults

Our adult Sunday School classes meet at 9:30 AM. The Inquirer’s Class meets in the Westminster Room and typically features a topical series, sometimes with outside speakers, and a Zoom option. A Bible Study is offered in the Calvin Room and also includes a Zoom option.

In addition, we periodically offer evening series. In October 2026, we will begin a series titled “The Parables of Jesus Through Middle Eastern Eyes.” Using a video series by New Testament Scholar Dr. Kenneth Bailey, the group will engage in a study of Jesus’ most familiar and beloved parables in the Gospel of Luke. Dr. Bailey spent over forty years living and teaching in seminaries and institutes in the Middle East and brings a fresh cultural perspective to the parables of Jesus, providing new and profound insight to these familiar stories. The class will meet on October 7, October 14, October 28, and November 4; dinner will be available at 5:30 and class will begin at 6 PM. Those attending dinner are asked to call or email the church office (no reservation required for the class alone).
