Presbyterian Women

Statement of Purpose:
Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ
and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves:
To nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study;
To support the mission of the Church worldwide;
To work for justice and peace; and
To build an inclusive, caring community of women
that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)
and witness to the promise of God’s Kingdom.

At First Presbyterian Church we have several PW circles, each meeting at a different day and time of each month, nine months out of the year, and each studying the same lesson plan. Our study in 2021-2022 is What My Grandmothers Taught Me: Learning from the Women in Matthew’s Genealogy of Jesus.

Meeting dates and times are below. Please note that all meetings currently are being held on Zoom, with the exception of one circle that meets at Westminster Oaks under very specific limits. The Society of Saints, our coed circle, is not meeting. If you would like to attend any of these circle meetings, please reach out to the circle leader or email the church office for a Zoom link.
