Tropical Storm Helene

As of 11 AM on September 24, Tropical Cyclone 9 has become Tropical Storm Helene and is forecast to intensify to hurricane strength before reaching the Gulf coast on Thursday. Leon County Schools will be closed Thursday and Friday; FSU and Tallahassee State College are closed Wednesday through Friday. Please be sure your storm preparations are in place. Check the Leon County Emergency Information Portal for local updates.
